Researcher terms of use
The full researcher terms are being prepared and will be published here before they take effect. This page is a placeholder so the agreement has a home; it is not yet the final wording.
These terms will set out what a researcher account may and may not do on PDD: that every study runs under its own approved protocol and IRB determination, that participants are never paid and join by consent, that participant data is used only within the study that collected it and deleted at the end of its retention window, and that a researcher may not attempt to re-identify the people behind the data they receive.
Until the final terms are posted, the binding commitments a researcher makes are the ones affirmed per study at study creation, and the site-wide terms and privacy notice.
